This month’s meeting will be held on Wednesday April 24at 5:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Riverton Extension office. This is located in the Fremont County office building just north of the fairgrounds on the north side of Fairgrounds Drive. Use the walk-through door on the southeast corner of the building.
The agenda for Wednesday’s meeting is below. Our Continuing education topic will be on proper tree pruning. Research the topic before the meeting so we can discuss. If something needs to be added please let me know or bring your ideas or thoughts to the meeting Wednesday.

Pepper Progress
·Peppers were started on 3-3-24 in 1 ½ inch cells.
·162 were planted and 146 germinated and were potted up into 4 inch pots on 4-10-24.
·They will be remain under grow lights for 16 hours per day.

LAST SATURDAY AT THE FAIRGROUNDS!
Markets in the Riverton City Hall parking lot start May 4!
These were started 3-3-24. Took 7 days to start germinating and some are still starting to poke through.
Once germination begins grow lights will be turned on for 16 hours per day.
When germination is complete heat mats will be removed and lights will remain on for 16 hours. Soil moisture needs to be checked daily. Soil needs to be kept moist. I will update in approximately 2 weeks.
The Hunger Initiative (Cent$ible Nutrition) sent a bunch of seeds for G.A.L.E. if anyone is interested. They will be packaged and available at the (Riverton) Extension office. 818. S. Federal Blvd. in Riverton (north of the Fairgrounds).
