Ernie Schierwagen: Planting Peppers

These were started 3-3-24. Took 7 days to start germinating and some are still starting to poke through.

Once germination begins grow lights will be turned on for 16 hours per day.

When germination is complete heat mats will be removed and lights will remain on for 16 hours. Soil moisture needs to be checked daily. Soil needs to be kept moist. I will update in approximately 2 weeks.

Seeds available at the Riverton Extension office

The Hunger Initiative (Cent$ible Nutrition) sent a bunch of seeds for G.A.L.E. if anyone is interested. They will be packaged and available at the (Riverton) Extension office. 818. S. Federal Blvd. in Riverton (north of the Fairgrounds).

Riverton Farmers Market ~ Saturday February 24, 2024

 A variety of awesome items and products can be found at the Riverton Saturday Farmers' Market at the Little Wind Building, Fremont County Fairgrounds from 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Eggs, soaps and lotions, jams and jellies, relishes, herbs and spices, cool t-shirts to color for the kids, beautiful night lights, onions, garlic, and...a tomato-onion-basil quiche (gluten free!)...come on down!

Door prize raffle will be called at 10:45 a.m.!
